Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon is aged for at least Seven Years in a newly charred American White Oak Barrel. Each bottle, approximately 248 per barrel, is hand-filled and numbered. The series of numbers on the back of the label tells you when the whiskey was put in the barrel and the date we bottled it. This assured you of the singular source at the Four Roses Distillery and gives you the opportunity to compare Bourbon from different barrels and years. By its very nature, no two barrels create identical tasting Bourbons.

Palate: Hints of ripe plum & cherries, robust, full body, mellow.

Four Roses Distillery is a special place with a special page in history. One of only six distilleries that were permitted to operate during Prohibition to produce medicinal Bourbon, it has an intriguing history. Sitting on the banks of the Salt River in the serene rural part of Kentucky, it saw ups and downs, until it was resurrected in 2002.
